LATEST NEWS 1st Team triumph in the cup The 1st team start of their competitive season strongly against last years Semi finalists Preston Nomads with an 18 run win. HK started off well with Tom Robinson and Stew Fuller putting on a 97 run opening partnership. This did amuse some onlookers as it took 16 overs for Robinson to get off the mark. HK finished with 204 - 6 thanks largely to Chris Batchelors quickfire 75 following Stew Fullers 86. The home team responded slowly but pushed on, Nomads did always look like they were in the hunt but needing 34 off of the last over, they didnt manage to succeed.   HK won by 18 runs and will play St Francis at Princess Royal Hospital fields on Saturday 24th May 2008. 2nd team start off Conference Campaign   The Clubs 2nd team start off their 2008 Conference campaign at home against Forest Row. Some of the Forest Row members saw HK win the double at their ground last season so will be eager to duplicate our success.
