Alex is the club's closest member to blue blood. Nothing to do with his relatives, its thanks largely to his social class. Alex does seem to get the brunt of most of the ribbing but he undoubtedly one the best blokes you can have for the club. He is a very patient guy and wants for his time to shine. Despite most weeks batting in the lower order, not bowling and getting the "in short" duty hes still happy to do it for the team. Alex did take his time though for the 2nd team claiming Man of the Match in the Conference final in 2007 with 3-10 and 58.
